Alamo has confirmed plans to increase its presence in the Middle East by launching its brand in the United Arab Emirates. It says that customers will now be able to access vehicles at four new stations. These stations are situated at Abu Dhabi and Dubai airports and at locations in downtown Abu Dhabi and downtown Dubai. Alamo said that a fleet of 4,000 vehicles will rolled out for its customers in the new locations.
As well as the new car hire stations; Alamo has launched a new website, specifically aimed at Middle Eastern customers. They have also established a standalone reservations centre.
Guy Coghlin, managing director, Middle East, Alamo and National Car Rental, said that the UAE was now firmly established as an extremely popular destination for holidaymakers, and that Alamo was pleased to be able to offer its world class service to people travelling to the area. He said that Alamo would be able to offer residents and tourists a service which incorporated global expertise and an in-depth local knowledge and understanding.
Alamo prides itself on providing a premium quality service directed at the leisure traveller. The company was originally set up in Florida, and now offers 8,800 rental locations in around 90 countries.
Coghlin said that Alamo was keen to offer its high quality of customer care to those who may already have some knowledge of the brand from other regions. He also said that holidaymakers, whether domestic or international, would now be able to get themselves to their destinations in comfort and as quickly as possible.
