Rental car usage in Brazil could increase by as much as 30% during upcoming Carnaval, according to Global Fleet

Brazil's national car rental association, ABLA, reports that Brazilians tend to travel domestically for Carnaval, which runs from March 1-6. States expecting to see the greatest increase in demand are Sao Paolo, Minas Gerais, and Santa Catarina.
